High torque with low height
Especially in steel and bridge construction our battery-powered torque wrenches are suitable for assembly works. With a torque range of 30-7.000 Nm, these bolting tools are very versatile. Two Lithium-ion batteries with 5,2 Ah are included in the scope of delivery. For continuous use or in case a recharging of the battery on site is difficult, we also offer 8,0 Ah Li-HD-batteries.
Our electric torque wrenches (e.g. MV-RAD (MED) and E-RAD) ensure particular rapid bolting. That is required if crane times during assembly work constitute a large cost factor. These costs can be drastically reduced through shorter assembly times.
Hydraulic torque wrenches are capable of achieving 71.000 Nm. At low construction heights our hydraulic low profile torque wrenches are especially suitable. Often alternative devices do not find sufficient space. Although limited ergonomics due to the heavy torquing tool and hydraulic pump, the low profile torque wrenches are still having their own merits. If these restrictions are not given, we always recommend electric or battery-powered tools. These ergonomic torque wrenches steadily replace hydraulic bolting systems in the future.
Documentation System
All bolting data is recorded with the documentation system and transferred to a PC via Bluetooth. This provides the customer or quality assurance with proof that all screws have been tightened within the specified range. In the case of assembly activities as a service in the steel construction sector, the fitters are on the safe side in the event of liability claims.
Torque Check Function
Screw connestions change due to environmental influences and mechanical loads. Screws become loose or loosen. For this reason, screw connectioons must be checked and serviced at specified intervals. Torque wrenches with a torque check function are suitable for this task.
If screws are further tightened during maintenance, this will also affect the screw connection. Therefore, M-PT has developed an innovative battery and electric torque wrench with an integrated, highly sensitive test program. Unlike conventional devices, the torque wrench measures the torque applied to the screw as the tension builds up, without further tightening the screw. The result: the screw connection is not manipulated during maintenance.
